Eclipse Mental Wellness, PLLC wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and each page starts with a “skip to content” link.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Pages use one main heading, a logical heading order, and landmarks so screen-reader users can move around quickly.
• Every field on the contact form has a visible label, required fields are marked, and the confirmation message is announced to screen readers.
• The site works on phones and tablets, and text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
• Animation is reduced or turned off when your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on.
• Text and background colors are checked for contrast.

Known limitations

• The patient portal, Headway booking, and the Spruce app are run by other companies, and we cannot control their accessibility.

Accessible care

Accessibility matters in your care as much as on this website. If you need an accommodation to take part in your care, tell us when you schedule and we will work out what is possible. Some things we can offer:

• Video visits when they are clinically appropriate. Federal rules for prescribing certain controlled medications by telehealth can change, so some visits, such as some medication refills, may need to happen in person.
• Written instructions after each visit. Your medication instructions and next steps are sent to you through the patient portal after every appointment, so you have them in writing.
• Extra time or breaks during an appointment.
• Copies of your medical records on request. The Notice of Privacy Practices explains how to ask.

We do not have interpreters on staff. If you need an interpreter or other communication support, please tell us when you schedule so we can discuss arrangements before your visit.
