Mood Care

Depression & Mood Disorders

Compassionate, evidence-based care for depression, bipolar disorder, and mood dysregulation, rooted in understanding your story.

Understanding

More Than Just Feeling Sad

Depression isn't just sadness. It can show up as numbness, exhaustion, irritability, loss of interest in things you used to love, difficulty getting out of bed, or a persistent feeling that nothing matters. For some people, it comes in waves; for others, it's always there.

Mood disorders, including major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia), affect how you feel, think, and function. They're medical conditions, not character flaws, and they respond to treatment.

At Eclipse Mental Wellness, we approach mood disorders with the complexity they deserve. Your mood is not a problem to solve; it's a signal to listen to. We work with you to understand what's beneath the surface and build a plan that supports real, lasting change.

Mood Conditions We Treat

Major Depressive Disorder

Persistent low mood, loss of interest, fatigue, concentration difficulties, and changes in sleep or appetite lasting two weeks or more.

Bipolar Disorder

Cycles of depression and elevated mood (mania or hypomania) that affect energy, activity levels, judgment, and daily functioning.

Persistent Depressive Disorder

A chronic, lower-grade depression lasting two years or more, often described as "just the way I am" but very treatable.

Maternal Mental Health

Postpartum depression, perinatal mood disorders, and the emotional challenges of pregnancy and early parenthood.
